Bus trip yesterday was very nice and a good decision. Watching the bus driver deal with the windy and narrow roads was enough to make us glad we opted for the bus trip. We were very lucky with the weather too, as it is cloudy again today.
This morning we are breakfasting at MacDonalds. Free camped outside a school and police station last night and had to move before pay parking kicked in at 8.30, so we decided to do it easy this morning. We parked right in town so that we could go to one of the many pubs in Killarney an experience the music etc with the natives. There were not too many natives there. Even this early in the season there was a majority of tourists. It was fun though.
Today we are off to Blarney Castle so that Kenny can recharge his bullshit (sorry mum) battery. We think he needs it - what do you reckon?
We are going to a camping park at Blarney tonight and will charge all our batteries in phones etc., and catch up with housework. Then we will check out Cork, before heading for Kilkenny, Carlos and Arklow.
Was going to make phone calls this morning, but the battery on my phone is dead and Kenny doesn't have many contacts on his phone. Hasn't got mum's new number. By the time we get some power to my phone it will be too late in Oz probably. Will try once I plug it into the charger in the van as we drive.
Must ring Joyce as well.
Have a big update ready from a couple of days ago that I will post this evening all being well.
