IT Trials

Typed 14 April 5pm

Two weeks into our four months and I am over all the hassles with IT already.  (Ref the wifi modem from Vodafone)  Next: when we set up the van initially, I bought a little Sumsung laser printer that fits beautifully into one of the cupboards.  The bloody thing has been a pain to me from its inception.  Last time I was able to install it on Kenneth’s laptop but not mine - not compatible with mine.  Now Kenneth has a new hard drive (replaced 10 days before departure) and I have a different laptop.  The printer is no longer on Kenny’s ‘puter, but I have installed on mine with no problems.  I went to print a 6 page document - it printed 5 pages and threw its legs in the air!!!!  It is making all the right noises, but it will not work.  I have tried and tried and tried and the bloody thing won’t work.  I m soooo close to throwing it out the window!!!!

Sorry folks - just venting here.  It is a Samsung ML 2168.  I have checked online but Samsung have a generic instruction video that was no help at all.  If anyone has any suggestions I would welcome them gladly.

The email is just a mess as we have to send all our mail via the webmail system, which means cutting, pasting and so forth - over it all.  And the Body Corporate at Mon Komo has decided to take the shed thing to the next level, and that is a stress I could live without right now.

Going away to cry quietly in a corner now.

Hope you are all well
